This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
